Lesley Brown Slenning

Hi there! My name is Les, I am a photographer in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. My photography style is very diverse. I started out shooting mainly street and journalism. My main focus has been traveling around with my camera capturing the biker lifestyle. But I have many interests when it comes to photography, and I would like very much to pursue them further!

I am looking for models with a unique style, different ethnicity's, tattoos and body piercings. I love pinup, classic cars, and custom bikes. I love capturing eras that are gone but not forgotten and throwing in my own style. I love taking people out of their element! I love capturing life!

I no longer do TFP or trade work of any kind. Please contact me for my rates and info!

I take what I do very seriously. I don't deal with drama at all. When it comes to drama, I will put my foot down. I could care less about gossip and bullshit.

I respect the models I work with a great deal and do everything in my power to make you comfortable. I do this because I love it, so I want to have a positive experience and most importantly have fun!

If you expect a fancy studio, a fancy camera, and fancy lighting equipment....I am not your gal. I simply work with what I have. I create my own sets out of whatever I can get my hands on. I love to shoot on location, in my yard, in my driveway, on my roof....you never know with me

Josh Horn: Baby Daddy in Tattoo Savage

Working at a tattoo shop can be a dangerous job. You just never know what types of characters are going to walk through that door ...

...

Long before Josh started working in a professional shop, he took the path that many ink-obsessed kids do and ended up with some far-from-polished work. He got his first piece at 16—a sun on his arm done by some scratcher in a basement. "When I was 17, a friend of mine got a machine and a kit and we tattooed each other a bunch and just ruined each other. Good times."

Leaving those days behind, Josh has since sought out the skills of tattoo artists such as Steve Smith at Stano's in Daytona Beach, who did his sleeves and left rib cage; Matt Radford at Centurion Ink in Palm Coast, who inked his right rib cage; and Jimmy at Daytona Hardcore Tattoo, who tattooed the back of his head. He also gives thanks to Bailey Robinson, Jay Chastain, Chris at Tropical Tattoo, Crazy Dave Keezer, Phil Colvin, Dennis Pase, and Squablo. "Usually something in my life will happen and I'll take it and turn the situation into a nice tattoo memory," Josh says.

We're sure he's going to have a lot of positive memories in the near future, since he's expecting his first baby in September. Congrats!

"If for some reason you don't want a real tattoo, you'll love Mehndi." Such was the theme of this article on the "mainstreaming" of tattoos and, in particular, the role of Galerie Lakaye in popularizing the art form through events at their studio such as "The Mehndi Project."
